You may ban commenters to prevent your blog being spammed. Homebuild uses the ip address (unique computer address) of the spammer to ban them. Unfortunately, many spammers have multiple ip addresses, or gain a new ip address when they reconnect to their service provider so this option is not foolproof.Banning Commenters

AVG Anti Virus and Security Products

This is an important day for Serif Systems Ltd.
We recently decided that the existing Anti Virus, Software Firewalls, Internet Security and AntiSpam software choices were not living up to their promises.
For years we have stuck by the same old tried and tested protection software only to find year on year an overhead of manual labour and a slow down of PC's with each subsequent install.
Then we started to use AVGFree for some of our home based customers, we quickly found that not all PC Protection software had the same overheads as the main players.
We soon started installing the commercial releases of AVG on to oem PC's and also to servers. We have now all but stopped selling all other manufacturers of Anti virus, Software firewalls and Anti Spam softwares.
We have to say that the results are totally outstanding, the performance loss's have gone, the installation headaches are isolated to uninstalling the older software packages and the cost savings are pretty impressive too.
From April 20th 2007 Serif Systems became a reseller of the complete range of AVG software products and have to say that the company is as easy to deal with as their software.

NEW Peli Protector Cases

The body of the case is a structural copolymer resin. Incorporated into the shell of the case is a pressure purge valve to allow pressure equalisation. A neoprene "O" ring in the lid ensures that the tongue and groove seal remains watertight. The hinges and handle interlocks form an integral part of the moulding, making it virtually impossible to break in the event of rough handling. Peli Case Improvements:
The outer padlock holes have reinforced metal padlock protectors to ensure 
the case cannot be easily cut or pried open.
Ergonomically designed handles are being introduced throughout the range of Protector Cases. These rubber overmoulded handles are lighter in weight, stronger and more comfortable to use.
